The StreamPix-based high-speed recording station for Camera Link, USB3, gigabit Ethernet (GigE) and CoaXPress (CXP) cameras is NorPix’s flagship software product. It can acquire from single or multiple cameras in sync at up to 3.0 gigabytes per second (Gps) uncompressed.
StreamPix supports a wide variety of cameras and frame grabbers. StreamPix is also digital video recording (DVR) recording software, acquires uncompressed video with time stamping, has IRIGB timing and supports a variety of compression Codecs.
With StreamPix, it is possible to view, control and acquire from multiple cameras simultaneously, all in the same user interface. StreamPix provides a complete management console for cameras, simplifying the setup, control and acquisition from any number and type of camera. The number of digital video cameras supported is limited by a condition wherein the combined data rate of the cameras exceeds the internal bus bandwidth or processor capabilities of the computer.
